As I told my son last night, I believe that one of the most valuable additions to our lives of the last dozen years is the TED talk.

We watch, we listen, we connect AND we learn.  Brilliant Chris Anderson; remarkable team that brings the inspirational, the intelligent, the new, the innovative within our field of vision, within our hearing range.

A few of my favorite TED talks of recent months:

This and the following one

have inspired me to face my fears, reminding me that our mind is the only limit to our vision.

Take a look at Stefan Sagmeister’s talk on Time Off..this, coupled with the new book, Mastering the Art of Quitting,  makes me think differently about change, another fear trigger

And then, after all this time focussing on how to be unafraid, the time comes when you need to be proactive and vanquish the problem.  Take a look at this young lad who had a mission and imagination.

We have lots of free time in our lives, even if we say we don’t.  There is a TED app..get it and listen, learn and enjoy.
