I love summer for its warm weather, tropical storms, dress down Fridays, outdoor markets, tasty tomotos and ripe fruit, zinneas in riotous colors.
And our Summer Interns.
Every summer we have the great fortune of welcoming at least one incredibly talented and passionate college student to the office to share our work and our knowledge. This year we are working alongside Sienna Brown who will be heading in to her senior year at Vassar as a Psych and Hispanic Studies major. Sienna has taken on numerous tasks with us, but it is her launch of the blog, Willing Foot Musings, that has energized the office. Her photography is luminous and her musings are always thought provoking and deeply felt.
The problem with good interns, like Sienna, is that the family gets broken up at summer's end. Happily, Sienna will work with us remotely while at Vassar, so we can look forward to many more inspiring blog postings.
