Meditations #79

BY Lisa Lindblad

Why do I love carved wood, woven fiber, embroidered textile?

These beauties, bearing the handprint of the maker, are windows into unique cultures.

Telling joyful stories, deciphering mysteries, averting danger, objects both utilitarian and artful

embody the soul of a people and the dignity of the individual.
